Dr. Abraham patani, doctor of science from university of mainz, Germany started M/S. Indo german alkaloids, manufacturing pharmaceutical chemicals in 1958.

In 1974, a new unit M/S. Inga laboratories pvt. Ltd. Was started having complete range of formulation viz. Injectables, capsules, tablets, liquid orals etc. In various forms covering the entire spectrum of drug formulations.

In 1983 M/S. Inga pharmaceuticals was started to cope up with the increasing demands. This unit also took over handling of supplies internationally.
